But i'm still alive and ticking! My sketchbooks have now been officially listed and ready to sell on etsy. You should check them out, I think they look particularly snazzy (and that's not just because I'm biased or nothing....) Click the images to get to the listing, you know you want to.... I still need to change the colors and tones on all the leaves, do some shading but not too bad so far i feel. Mostly shading, this is an easy one because it doesn't require much color. Maybe I'll ghost something behind the words/word balloons. also - as i started coloring her she started to remind me of Dr.Cox's wife/ex wife (i haven't followed) in Scrubs :P Alright, now onto teh sex. The first image is a color update on the tentacle piece from a while back. I still have a few things left to shade on it. The second image I'm just going to let you figure out what I'm trying to illustrate specifically there. I think I'm going to go in and work the background a little more, doesn't look right to me Click for teh sexiness!; |

This' actually something I've been meaning to do for a while now. Because I own a domain name I get spam. By the Hundreds. Daily. Most times it's the same message/image 50x more then necessary trying to sell me pills to further my erection or some other type from canada(the newest wave)...but occasionally I end up with text bodies of complete and utter nonscense that strike a cord in me. And so I bring you my inspirations, my "Spam stories" text was "Fall foliage average high!" text's all in there from the email Looking at it now I think i need to put a question mark behind the little girl's head. When it's colored the "moon glow" comment will make more sense Next up, working on more sexy/masturbation material. You'll understand later. There will be a thumbnail cut, it is *not* WS. |

i think i got everything....
From meg hunt's art meme.. The task was to illustrate a yeticorn cutting itself while drinking a PBR, while riding a british T-rex that's crying a single tear, surrounded by a cloud of moths; with drippy colors and halftones all over the place. the PBR can has a jetpack, and in the background abe lincoln is playing guitar hero. lincoln has one angel wing and one devil wing. the t-rex has the head of a baby and deer antlers, and there's a heart hanging on one of the horns. oh, and the yeticorn's horn is actually a phonogram horn, that plays a tune that says 'i don't get it.' |

News illustrations
I decided, a little late, to take part in this week's Illustration friday topic, "sprout". Same here, shading and maybe a few more layers of color. While the first doesn't have the exact article because i save them to my computer, it still covers the same issue. Click the image for the article provided. First up, bird flu and the killing of thousands of british turkeys to try and stop the spread of birdflu. I still need to do all the shading and whispy smoky stuff to the different layers but this is what i have so far Second we have and article on investigators checking out coca cola products that claim to have "voodoo nutrition", aka they put less calories into your body and green tea extrcts combined with caffeine burns more energy then you take in. At this point I think I'm just going to work on shading. Thoughts? |

or at least the beginnings of it. What i decided to do was take articles in das news and illustrate them on my own. The first article was on women getting uterus transplants and the controversey of medical vs ethics vs emotions involved of a women's reproductive system. Second was from an article about a man who ever since he won the lottery has had the worst luck of his entire life. He's gone into dept, various family members have died/oded, he's being sued from every angle...the check will read "congradulations you've won..." but right now it is missing. alas Lastly from an article on the weather in the midwest and the rising death toll from the storms So what do you guys think of it so far? i'll try to find a few links to the articles in the future but right now I am without |

This might be a repeat for some....
...sorry about that ;) - Completes - Halloween, finished up on little alterations. I am so very much in love with this peice now Talk like a pirate!! arrr! All shading and what-not done! I know it's a wee bit early but here's my next valentine's illust. I might shade a little more in the hair but i kinda like it as is right now. - Questionables - Thanksgiving is soon upon us but my thanksgiving illust is only half done. Well poo. Here's what i was able to get done so far. Bear in mind that the black backround is only there to show the smoke, it won't stay "Jersey girls" is something that i inked from my sketchbook after watching the MTV special on the Jersey shore. |

Moses poster
Sorry, i forgot to post this to my journal! I had been contacted by comedian p.h freddy fred to work on a poster for his tour. I asked him for an idea for the poster, he told me "moses w/a guitar in a deli". From there I just let it roll. sketch; I *think* I might be done, might need to do a few more tweaks here and there still. final?; I had so much fun working on this one, thoughts? |

Arrr!
It's been a while since i posted Mojizu chars so i started these two over the weekend. They don't yet have names, histories or anything. Arrr! The (finally) Inked first half of the sept holiday illustration celebrating 'talk like a pirate day'. Still trying to figure out what exactly they'll be saying in pirate lingo. As always, your input/thoughts are appreciated. :) |

It's been a while
but here's one of the few projects i've been working on lately. I finally got them all scanned in! The project is to make little cardboard faces, complete with their own individual names, then to scatter them around NYC proper. If you find one of the little guys there'll be an address on the back (by their name) telling you a link to go to to say you've found whoever it is you found. I don't expect that all of them will be found but I thought i'd be a neat project to try out :) |
